Sea Wind Management, as part of its activity as the “Owner’s Engineer”, has ensured project management of the Baltic Eagle offshore project during the design phase of an XXL monopile. The key challenge was to provide the technical proof of a monopile foundation for an 8 MW wind power plant in very difficult subsoil conditions of the Arkona Basin of the Baltic Sea and at a water depth of up to 45 m.

In cooperation with Gud Consult GmbH, JBO Ingenieure GmbH, HPC - Hanseatic Power Cert GmbH and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, S.A., it was possible to provide technical proof of feasibility for the statics, design, production and offshore installation.
